Men’s Tribal Wisdom

Working with Danu and Morten over the last eighteen months in a mix of individual, group and community experiences has been nothing less than transformational across my entire life (my work, my relationships, and, most fundamentally, my relationship with myself). There is no being "done to" in the work with them - it's a walking alongside with holding, wisdom, deep compassion and, dare I say it, love. Within that is a deep respect for the other places we use for support (eg therapy, recovery circles, health coaching, professional mentors) and a working "with" rather than "against" or "instead", which then allowed for a true building on the work I had done elsewhere - a quite literal taking it all to the next level.

The work has taken me to a much deeper knowing and reclaiming of myself, and from that has flowed true gifts in relation to others. I find myself far better able to see my loved ones, my friends for who they are and not just what parts of me wanted them to be. And that's the basis for true relationship - I cannot truly see and love anyone else before I can I see and love myself. I feel a hope and excitement for my future life which somewhere along the lines of life I had lost sight of.

No one single piece of work with Danu and Morten is "better" or "worse" and there is a continuity I've found across the experiences I have had with them which has allowed for true iterative growth. Elemental Immersion helped me understand and embody the energies of the five elements and call upon those energies as I need them. Sovereign Hive has given me such a gift in holding and being held - a personal and professional game changer for me. To understand and experience the true need to be held and resourced in order to hold and support the resourcing of the people I work with has been a deep, unique, and utterly beneficial process.

Working with Morten in both ceremonial and coaching contexts has been utterly transformative. I have initiated into a shamanic path that has opened my awareness to a level of consciousness, compassion, love and knowing that I could never have imagined.
